About GreenCycle Wind
GreenCycle Wind is uniquely positioned as we enter the renewable energy market with our “Patent Pending” products. We are a relatively new company, formed to manufacture and sell electric generation equipment that utilizes two production sources, waste wind energy from mechanical/HVAC equipment produced exhaust air and natural wind. No other electric generating equipment available today produces electric energy from the waste wind produced by mechanical equipment. This wind source is a consistent and predictable, as compared to natural wind which is highly intermittent and unpredictable. Our electric wind generators can provide a steady, reliable source of electric energy that produces a reliable stream of energy savings.
Because it is the use of mechanical exhaust and HVAC equipment that typically causes utility peak loads, the waste wind our products utilize is typically available during the daylight hours when customer usage is high and utilities experience peak loads on their systems. By using this waste wind energy, our electric generators are a natural fit for real-time and time of use pricing programs as well as rates that include coincident peak demand charges that are offered by utilities. Our products can provide customers with consistent energy savings by reducing on-peak usage.
Additionally, a significant amount of natural wind potential is typically only available from 11 P.M. to dawn, when customers’ needs for electricity are low. It is during this time our generators are able to exploit natural wind potential, while the mechanical and HVAC equipment is usually idle.
Our wind generators are readily adaptable to urban environments with little or no necessary structural upgrades required for our installations. Most other small wind generators require major structural upgrades and degrade the sight line of the building on which they are installed. By using the waste wind energy produced by mechanical or HVAC equipment, our wind generators can produce significant amounts of renewable energy, even in wind-poor areas of the country.
These unique wind generators have been in the research and development stage for the past several years and will be commercially available in April of 2011, to help customers reduce their energy bills. Our units range from 500 watts to 4,500 watts in 500 watt increments. They have been designed to meet the needs of almost all commercial, retail and industrial customers. In short, our products have been designed to efficiently meet the needs of and to generate significant energy bill savings for the business community as a whole. Our units are completely customized to the customers’ needs.
We size the unit(s) based on the diameter of the exhaust port, velocity of the exhaust air and the space available for mounting the unit(s). We will modify the support base to accommodate our customer’s particular requirements.
